Solar Jam Productions was born after the co-owners wanted to hold a completely sustainable environmental event of their own. In 2000 CT's very first solar-powered concert was produced by Rich and Christine on Schreiber's Farm in Oxford, CT. With no electricity at the location, solar powered units were rented to provide the electricity for the music. After that show, they decided to build their own solar power source and look forward to growing and making an even larger unit in the future.
